Conferences provide and foster platforms for learning, awareness, and to gain a better understanding of various topics. Weather Report is a conference around climate change, promoting active conversation to work towards sustainable solutions. The annual occurrence of this conference in Eastern Ontario brings together delegates, scientists, and industry professionals alike to tackle important discussions about our planet.
I wanted to create a design that reflected the urgency and dire situation we are currently facing. The red earth and thermometer amplify the stressful emotions associated with climate change - the earth feels baren and uninhabitable.
The cracked 'O' in "Report" adds dimension and play with "Weather" above, creating a unique and memorable design that reflects the seriousness of this topic.
