Recipe books make cooking accessible for people of all ages. Some, including this one, include nostalgic feelings or emotional connections through food. I wanted to harness nostalgia, centering it around vintage styles while maintaining a minimal and clean look.
I wanted to create a design that reflected the emotional experience of learning and cooking with family, specifically grandparents. The raw illustrations blend well, adding personality to each recipe which feels down to earth.
